Teva letter

This is a letter you can print out and send to the pharmacist that deals with your prescriptions:

Dear Pharmacist,

I am writing to request that medications issued to me in future do not include products that are manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals. Please mark my records to that effect.

Please use alternative brand names available to you for the same generic medications prescribed for me by my GP.

This request is based on ethical concerns regarding Teva Pharmaceuticals. That company has its headquarters in Israel and supports an Israeli government which stands accused before the International Court of Justice of genocide and war crimes. Reports have been published by Save The Children, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, B’Tselem and many other organisations worldwide. Israel’s Prime Minister is also currently under investigation by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity

Because of this, Teva Pharmaceuticals is a company which I cannot in good conscience support by using any of their products.

I hope you have no difficulties in complying with my request but if for any reason you are unable to do so prior to issuing the medications listed on any of my future prescriptions, can you please contact me beforehand using the details below.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support in managing my health with compassion and integrity.
