The Merseyside Local Government Pension Fund has big investments in the arms industry and in firms that prop up Israeli apartheid. Possibly Merseyside’s biggest single contribution to the campaign for Boycott Divestment and Sanctions would be for the Fund to get rid of those investments. We are regularly demonstrating outside the Pension Committee meetings (which take place at Wallasey Town Hall) and campaigning for disinvestment.
